University of Florida - Gainesville, FL"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Matthew 9:36-38
During our collegiate years (Brian at Indiana University, Lexi at The University of Florida), God grew in us a passion to know Jesus and to help others know Him. From our own experience, we have learned how formative the college years can be and how strategic a ministry field college campuses are. College campuses hold the future leaders of our nation as well thousands of international students who will become the leaders in their home countries. As great as this potential is, they also are a living example of Jesus’ words in Mathew 9. College campuses are a vast field of students who are living as lost and helpless sheep without a shepherd. And we believe God is still at work, bringing life and healing to these hurting and hopeless people.
The incredible part is God wants to use us – simple, ordinary people – to tell others of His love. We believe God has called us to develop meaningful relationships with students so that we can share the Gospel with them. We also believe God has called us to establish believers in their faith through one-to-one discipleship and to equip them with the skills to make disciples of others. Our vision follows Paul’s words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2 – that we would invest our lives into men and women who would turn around and invest spiritually in the lives of others in order that generations of laborers might be raised up. Our prayer is that God would use our lives to raise up many generations of spiritually mature men and women who will take the Gospel into the nations.
We feel so blessed and humbled to be able to share the Good News of Jesus with people – and this we could not do without your prayers and financial support. Thanks so much for partnering with us in advancing the Gospel into the nations!
