The Navigators
To Know Christ and Make Him Known

Snapshot of The Navigators

Since 1933, Navigators have worked hard to help others "to know Christ and to make Him known." It's a simple-sounding motto, but it reflects a lifetime of commitment.

That's because we don't just use words to tell others about Jesus. We share our lives, up close and personal. And we do it for a lifetime to help others not only experience the saving grace of our Lord, but also the joy of His daily fellowship.

And then we go one step further.

We help growing Christians reach out to others in the same way we first reached them. We like to call it spiritual multiplication, but the Apostle Paul said it best when he told Timothy, his young disciple:

"The things you have heard me say in the presence of  many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others"  (2 Timothy 2:2).

An early handful of Navigators helped sailors know Christ. That's how we got our nautical-sounding name. Today, over 60 years later, our numbers have grown to over 3,600 faithful men and women. And we've expanded to reach college students, homemakers, inner-city kids, businessmen and women, and so on—in nearly 100 countries!

Chances are, in nearly every walk of life, you'll find a Navigator quietly, purposefully, sharing Christ one-to-one and establishing life-long relationships.

So you see, it's not only what we do, but who we are that makes us Navigators.
