A Sneak Peek at Our Speakers

God has provided a number of gifted speakers for our National Staff conference for Women, who will share from the Word and from their lives. Our conference will begin with dinner on Thursday night, followed by our first plenary session. National Women's Ministry Director, Jane Berry, will introduce the conference and set the stage for what we can expect for our time together. If you haven't had the opportunity to meet Jane, you definitely will want to be with us in San Diego to hear her heart for women and the God she serves. Karen Coburn will once again lead us in a time of worship.



 You won't want to miss devotionals on Thursday and Friday mornings, with speaker and author, Poppy Smith. Poppy is the author of two Bible studies and three books, I'm Too Young to Be This Old, I Wish I Could Be More, and Keep Growing. She is a popular speaker and Bible teacher around the world.



Chris Treneer, wife of our International Director, Mike Treneer, will speak to us Thursday morning on the topic, Refresh Your Soul. Chris has devoted her life to discipling women and couples, primarily in Europe and Africa. You will be encouraged by her delightful spirit and insights from God's Word.



Friday evening Navstaff, Debbie Friley brings us a message on Renewing Your Love. Debbie has served with The Navigators in full-time ministry since 1984, ministering to women through the message of the Gospel, one-on-one discipleship, Bible study groups, and leadership training. She has an exciting ministry called Salt and Light which is encouraging small groups throughout her hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida, and elsewhere, to dive into the Word of God.


Esther Waruiru has been on Navstaff since 1978, working in collegiate women's ministry, staff training, and leader development. For 13 years she served as a member of the Africa Leadership Team and is now a member of the U.S. National Leadership Team. This summer she will join Mike Treneer's International Leadership Team. From her wealth of experience and a deep walk with God, Esther will bring us a message Saturday morning on Reviving Your Passion.

Jane will speak to us again at our Saturday evening banquet and give us a vision for The Navigators' National Women's Ministry. God has been leading and guiding this ministry since it began in 1997 and He continues to bring clarity to what He desires for the encouragement and development of Navigator Women.

Throughout the conference, you will have the opportunity to hear from Navigator staff women as they share what God is doing in and through them. Join us as we "meet on the beach" for some informal sharing and a time of hearing God's heart for women.
