Meet Jane Berry
The National Woman's Ministry Has A New Director
The
Navigators' National Women's Ministry (NWM) is pleased and excited to
introduce our new director, Jane Berry. Jane and her husband, Richard,
are on the leadership team of The Navigators' African American Ministry
team, where Richard serves as the Entity Director. Rich and Jane bring
many years of ministry experience with The Navigators, having served
with the military, collegiate, and community ministries for 13 years.
They were The Navigators' first African American staff in the early
'70s.
Jane brings to the role of NWM Director a heart to see women developed to their fullest potential. She has a particular passion to bring encouragement and development to ministry wives and to address the issues and needs of women in ministry leadership roles. Jane is a mentor and effective discipler of women, encouraging them to develop a deep commitment to God, His Word, His people, and His world. With more than 30 years of ministry experience, Jane is a trained speaker and biblically trained teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary. She and Richard have two grown children.
Please uphold Jane in prayer as she assumes this new role. Not only is she taking on a demanding ministry responsibility, but her daughter is also getting married this month! Pray for her as she balances the demands of family and ministry, and as she grows in her role as The Navigators' National Women's Ministry Director.
