The Navigators
To Know Christ and Make Him Known

700,000 prisoners are released back into society each year, 67 percent of them will be re-arrested. This number shows what little hope inmates have outside of prison walls.

Prison Fellowship works to share God’s love with these men and women and help disciple and equip them for life outside the walls.

Prison Discipleship collaborates with churches, volunteers, and ministries to recruit, train, and support those who enter the prisons to share God’s love and hope.

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."  Matthew 25:40

Corrections: From Fatigue to Fulfillment - Part II
Corrections work, especially custody, tends to be routine and monotonous, even boring at times. Employees may feel as if they are incarcerated alongside the offenders. When a fight breaks out however, staff is transformed from glorified “sitters” and “waiters,” to use the words of a Correctional Officer, to warriors in the front lines.

Corrections: From Fatigue to Fulfillment - Part I
In recent years several studies have examined the stress related to corrections work. However, little attention has been paid to a much more enduring and pervasive workplace phenomenon which may well be at the root of much malaise in the profession.
