Making My Life Musical

The overwhelmingly obvious theme across all the youth camps we’ve run and are preparing for is music and performance. In Penghu, the opening introductions of various groups were elaborately constructed through song, dance, and drama presentations.

Even if it’s temporarily, the Taiwanese have made my life into a musical.

The children were elated to learn dance after dance—they love to dance more than any other activity. The vibrant spirit that is released in this culture of performance energizes me as we work together. Even if it’s temporarily, the Taiwanese have made my life into a musical.
