Praying Down Barriers

The Lord used this and a number of humbling circumstances to teach me to rely on Him through prayer.

Spending time away from Western culture, in an unfamiliar language, has exploded my heart for the international students at Kansas State.  I struggled with interactions and language barriers, and as I did, my compassion for my international peers rooted deeper into my heart.  The Lord used this and a number of humbling circumstances to teach me to rely on Him through prayer.

He’s powerful and willing to hear and answer my prayers, if only I will pray them.
