Ministry Activities: Learn missions mobilization and recruiting at our headquarters for part of a summer or for a semester. Help design brochures and publications and take on a wide array of projects to develop your heart for missions and get an inside look at missions operations.

Specific Skills: None required, but graphic design or writing especially helpful.

Brief Itinerary:
The biggest project that we do every summer is gather information, and put together our short-term missions brochure for the following summer.  It is a complex project involving collecting data by phone and email, designing and writing the brochure including graphics and editing, and organizing to have it printed.

Some other projects include gathering evaluations, stories, and photos/videos from the current summer trips that will be going and coming all summer long.  Another ongoing need is upgrading and updating our website postings.  There will also be a diverse set of other tasks that may only take a few hours or a day or two to complete.

Finally, one of the big events of the summer is what we call Family Gathering, with many missionary singles and families from all over the world here.  You might be needed to give some rides, help with a children’s program, set up a meeting, etc. The best part of the week is the chance to get to know some amazing families from some heroic situations in the far corners of the earth.

A Typical Day:
Monday through Friday working 8:30 to 4:30 at headquarters building

Once you have been accepted for the trip you will be put in contact with your team leader for more specific details regarding your trip.You will also attend one of our training weekends where you will learn about fundraising and how to prepare for your summer.
