Description: Unknown to many and according to recent research on the 10/40 window, the Japanese are the largest unreached people group in the world. We are praying for self-starting, relational people to work alongside a team of 2 missionary families and 3 Japanese staff in the challenging work of campus ministry in Shizuoka. Help reach out to college students through B.E.S.T Club (Bible, English, Sports, Travel) in friendship evangelism. Receive coaching and shepherding to help you succeed in pre-evangelism to evangelism to discipleship ministry in a relational context. A willingness to be challenged, minister on a team, and relate well to non-Christians necessary for this position. We need both men and women as part of our team who could serve 1-1/2 years up to 3 years in duration. Age is somewhat flexible at the upper end - we will consider on a case-by-case basis.
