Location: Sahel, West Africa

Description: The job would consist of a 50% teaching at a small American curriculum Christian grade and high school, and 50% language/culture/friendship evangelism with unreached Muslims.   The basic qualification would be a bachelor's, which would enable the person to teach.
This is a unique kind of position, as most people teaching at the school teach fulltime, and so have limited time for spiritual ministry, which consequently they spend mostly with people from their own [American] culture.  Those involved would definitely be required to have a dual focus, which would be "out of the box.'   Teaching experience, while a plus, is not a requirement, although obviously willingness to teach is critical.  This position would be ideal for someone who is considering a transition into teaching, as a real-life trial run.  Others for whom this may be a good fit include those with French, those with a heart for Muslims, those with a heart for the poor, and those considering health care careers down the road.
