Description: The U.S.IMG has an immediate opening for a person qualified to serve as the Communications Director. Responsibilities include leading the U.S. IMG communications function and personnel, development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy, serving as a communications adviser to the U.S.IMG Director and U.S.IMG Leadership Team, generating communications as requested by the U.S.IMG Director, providing primary editorial oversight of U.S.IMG communications media including the U.S.IMG web site, management of U.S.IMG communications projects (in-house/out-sourced) to completion, development of a long-range strategy for in-house media such as ImaGes and Frontier Ventures (currently in hiatus), teaching basic writing skills to out-going and furloughing “Away Team” staff and serving as a consultant for their communications needs, and stimulating and modeling internal communications. Must be willing to raise own support.
