"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19, 20 NIV)
As you actively follow Christ, you deepen your walk with God, grow in your relationship with Him, and learn to reach out to those around you with the Good News. Would you like to continue that growth, serving God in a part of the world where there are few believers to get that message out? Would you like to make an impact on students overseas while continuing your university education? Would you like to see God stretch your faith?
If your answer is "yes," then The Navigators at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) invites you to join them. By spending one or two semesters as a semester abroad student at AUBG, you can enhance your education, gain international experience, and labor alongside a veteran Navigator staff couple.
AUBG is a fully accredited American University with modern facilities, highly qualified faculty, and a student body representing 25 or more nationalities. All instruction is in English, and credits are usually fully transferable to universities in the U.S.
As a believer walking solidly with God and with a willingness and ability to make friends, you can let the love of the Lord shine as you interact with other students in and out of the classroom. You’ll live in one of three modern dormitories on this close-knit campus of about 1200 students. Many of your fellow students may have never opened a Bible or personally known a genuine Christian. Navigator staff are ready to help make your semester abroad both academically successful and spiritually rewarding.
Check out AUBG's website ( http://www.aubg.bg/) to see if the programs and courses offered are compatible with your educational goals.
In addition to making a significant contribution to the advancement of the Gospel in Bulgaria and beyond, you will have the opportunity to experience a different culture, travel (we’re about an hour from the Greek border), and expand your horizons. Our hope is that after spending one or two semesters with us, you’ll return to your home campus with new motivation, a deeper walk with God, and greater ministry experience.
