Find Nav Friends

Use Facebook to help you find Nav friends and to help your friends find you. We encourage you to create Navigators groups that will increase our community and our ability to connect with each other.

Create Nav Groups
  1. There are many possibilities. Such as:
    • An alumni group from a campus, for any period of time (e.g. Texas A&M - 1990s)
    • In a specific state (Arizona grads)
    • In a specific region (Heartland grads)
    • In a city (Navigators grads living in Detroit)
    • Wanting accountability (e.g., TMS review, reading through the Bible, living and discipling among your friends)
    • Interested in missions
  2. Suggestions
    • As you create your Facebook group, it will help others find you if you include these details:
      • the name "The Navigators" (or simply "Navigators")
      • the specific name of your group
    • For example: If you create a group for the 2005 graduate of Purdue University, then the group would be easiest to find if you name it something like:
      • Navigators - Purdue 2005 grads or
      • Purdue Navigators - 2005 grads
    • Ready to get started? Go to: http://www.facebook.com/groups/create.php
Examples of Existing Groups
There are numerous Navigators groups already on Facebook. Here are a few that are easy to find:
