Navigators Africa desires to see the Gospel of the Kingdom penetrate deep into all areas of the continent. Discipling for Development is a strategy The Navigators hope to utilize in order to engage poor communities; especially rural communities where they have not been present in the past. In November 2007, Mission: Moving Mountains will begin training Navigators Africa staff to be Discipling for Development implementers at a workshop in Uganda. That training will launch a full blown mentoring program among many other Navigators Africa staff across the continent. The Navigators currently work in 23 countries in Africa which would quadruple our current capacity to work among the poor and unreached there.
In order to see this happen, Mission: Moving Mountains needs partners who are willing to financially back this work. In November 2007 there will be a training in Uganda. At least 40 participants are signed up from 13 African countries. Would you consider giving monthly to help make this project happen?
