RETREAT OVERVIEW
You say you have an out of control marriage, like it’s a bad thing. Well, guess what? Being out of your control is exactly what God needs! God has destined for you to have a wild, out of control marriage that is full of adventure, joy, and purpose. Pastor Steve and his wife Liz are excited to introduce you to just what the Bible has to say about God’s wild, unexpected, joy filled marriage and just how you can live it every day.
We will delve into a verse by verse excursion from Ephesians 5 of what God says about marriage. Each verse builds on the last. God has a divine order not only for marriage but for home life in general. We’ve entitled this conference “Marriage Gone Wild,” because most, if not all, of God’s principles and exhortations are wild! They are wildly different from what our culture tells us; they are wildly extravagant in their implications.
Join us at a retreat center like no other, with a castle, 800 acres of glorious space right next to Garden of the Gods Park, a waterfall hike, fantastic meals, and time to go on a walk and be with God, together. Even if you’re from Colorado Springs, you’ll feel like you are far away from all the noise and hurry.
OUR RETREAT LEADERS
 Steve and Liz Holt met while smuggling Bibles into China. Both Holts served with Campus Crusade for Christ overseas. Steve has a masters degree in Missiology and Liz is a graduate of UCLA. Steve and Liz planted Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs in 1995. The church has since grown to over 3,500 active members. MSC has planted 13 other churches during this time. Steve Holt has founded and leads a new network of churches, Word and Spirit Churches International, that currently has churches in the United States and Japan.
Steve has a passion for seeing lives changed through the teaching of God’s Word. He enjoys equipping pastors and church planters around the world who have a similar desire to change lives through the power of the Word of God. In his free time, Steve loves to date Liz, drink latte’s with his beautiful girls, read history, and hunt and fish with his boys.
