About the conference: In her own words
Glen Eyrie: Hi Angela! Thanks for representing the teaching team for
this year's writers' conference. Could you share a little bit about
what this year's conference will focus on?
Angela Hunt: This conference will focus on writing, but it will
be more interactive and intensive than the typical conference, with
time allowed for conferees to write. So many conferences are
broad—we’re designing this one to be deep.
GE: Who do you consider your main audience for this conference?
AH: Adults and older teens who are interested in honing their
writing gifts. Beginners or advanced writers are welcome and should
find plenty to enhance their skills.
GE: Why are you passionate about this subject?
AH: Each member of our team—Nancy Rue, Kathryn Mackel, Alton
Gansky, and Angela Hunt—are dedicated writers and teachers. We’ve been
doing both for more years than we care to count.
GE: What are two things you want attendees to take away from this conference?
AH: A heart open to the Spirit’s leading and a mind capable of completing the task.
GE: Sharing your writing with others can be a pretty personal
experience. Here's a question that will kick off that sharing attitude!
What's one thing in your day-to-day life that is normal for you but is
probably pretty unusual for most people?
AH: I live with two 200-pound dogs. When we move from room to room, it’s like herding bears!
GE: Thanks so much, Angela!
We look forward to another excellent writers' conference from you,
Alton, Nancy and Kathy this spring!

church planters, and budding writers.
