PRESENTERS
Wally Armstrong In the late 1960s, while his University of Florida golf teammates all wanted to be the next Arnold Palmer, All-American golfer Wally Armstrong just wanted to be the next great golf teacher and coach. After two years in the Army, Armstrong joined the PGA Tour in 1973. His 12-year playing career spawned further success on the Senior PGA Tour and much interest in his real love, educating golfers about how to get the most from their games, while enjoying the many golf and life benefits of friendship, camraderie, good sportmanship, fun and good play. He is the author of many golf instruction books, magazine articles, instruction videos, and newly released DVDs, and has invented many unique and inexpensive training-aids. His international success at teaching is well-known, and his nickname, the 'Dr. Feelgood of instructors' is exemplified by his enthusiastic approach and reverence for the game. Bill Rogers Bill Rogers has been in the professional golf world for nearly 30 years. He joined the PGA Tour full-time in 1974. During his years with the PGA, he won six tournaments, including the British Open in 1981. That same year, he was named the PGA Player of the Year and made an appearance in the Ryder Cup. He left the tour in the late 1980s to spend more time with his wife and two young children. Now that the kids are grown, he occasionally plays on the Champions Tour. He is currently the Director of Golf at the Briggs Ranch country club in San Antonio, TX. Jim Hiskey is a former PGA Tour professional and one of the founders of the Tour Bible study and the Links Letter. He travels in the States and abroad with Fellowship Ministries, reaching out as a relational evangelist. He is also the founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute, a para-church organization that endeavors to challenge, educate, and disciple those who will, like Lewis, articulate, defend, and live faith in Christ through personal and public life. He and his wife, Lorraine, live in Annapolis, Maryland. They have three children and eight grandchildren. Jerry White served as the president and CEO of The Navigators from 1986 to 2005, heading up its worldwide operations. He has been on numerous radio and television shows and is booked regularly as a speaker. He has a master’s in astronautics from The Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in astronautics from Purdue University. He served as a mission controller at Cape Kennedy, served in the Air Force, and is retired as a major general from the Air Force Reserves.
