About the conference: In his own words
Glen Eyrie: Hi Mark! Thanks for
talking to us about your upcoming conference. How would you
describe to someone what this conference will focus on?
Mark Buchanan: Spiritual disciplines for Jonahs - for those who seek God, but sometimes run from him.
GE: I feel like that describles about all of us! Who do you consider your main audience for this conference?
MB: Any Christians who are tired, stuck, restless.
GE: Once again, describes most of us
at some point in our lives! Very relevant. Why are you personally
passionate about this subject?
MB: As a pastor, I have committed my life to helping people live fully.
GE: What are 2 things you want attendees to take away from your conference?
MB: A greater appreciation for the seasons of their own heart; a fresh wonder at the goodness and bigness of God.
GE: One last question, Mark. What's
one thing in your day-to-day life that is normal for you but is
probably pretty unusual for most people?
MB: For years I collected pigs - pig pictures, pig ornaments, pig boxer shorts: anything and everything to do with pigs!
GE: No pigs at Glen Eyrie, but we do have Bighorn sheep! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Online and phone registration for this conference are currently available.
