PoliciesOur wedding planner will be glad to assist you should you have any questions or confusion regarding Glen Eyrie's wedding policies.Pricing Prices quoted are standard minimums, and are subject to change without notice. Actual prices are dependent upon services rendered and will be determined after the event once an inventory has been completed. A refund will be issued in the event of overpayment. IF there is a remaining balance after the event, it will be charged to the credit card on your wedding account. Tax and Gratuity All pricing is subject to a tax of 7.4% (9.4% for lodging rooms) and a gratuity of 18%. Reservations We will gladly place a tentative reservation (no money down) on a room or outdoor site for 10 business days. At the end of 10 days, the tentative reservation will be released unless you confirm your intent and give us notice to begin drafting a contract for you. Deposit, Contract, and Billing A partially refundable deposit of 50% of the contract amount is due with the return of the contract. If a cancellation should occur 6 months prior to the scheduled day, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Within 6 months of the scheduled day the deposit is non-refundable. In addition, we require that a credit card be placed on file regardless of how you choose to make payment. Final payment is due on or before the day of the rehearsal. Food and Beverage Service Glen Eyrie is responsible for the quality and freshness of the food served to our guests. All food and beverages served at Glen Eyrie must be prepared by our culinary staff. Food may not be taken off the premises after it has been prepared and served, excepting the wedding cake, which may be taken off-site. Glen Eyrie is an alcohol-free facility and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds. Scheduling Daytime slots for ceremony and reception packages are scheduled for 8 AM to 2 PM. Evening slots are scheduled for 4 PM to 10 PM. Access to your ceremony and reception site for decoration prior to the scheduled starting time is subject to availability. In the event that you do not depart at the scheduled time, a fee of $400 per hour will be assessed. Ceremonies that are scheduled without a reception guarantee the availability of the location for two hours. Wedding Rehearsal A 90-minute time period is alloted prior to the wedding day for your wedding rehearsal. However, we cannot guarantee that the site of your wedding ceremony will be available for your rehearsal. It may be necessary to rehearse elsewhere on the property. Additional rehearsal time is available at a fee of $50 per half hour, based on availability. Indoor Backup Glen Eyrie Conference Center requires that you secure an inclement weather backup for all outdoor wedding activities. Options include the rental of a tent or the reservation of a room on the property. Additional fees will apply. If you choose, you may refuse an indoor backup by signing a waiver. Should you not secure an indoor backup, the Glen Eyrie Conference Center will not be held liable in the event that weather affects your wedding day, and is not responsible for providing a backup. In the event of inclement weather, the Glen Eyrie Conference Center reserves the right to determine the appropriate course of action for your wedding. We will consider guest safety and other activities at Glen Eyrie when implementing the backup plan. Candles, Decorations, and Favors Only 2 tapers and 1 pillar candle allowed for the unity ceremony. Only 1 candle (in a glass container) per guest table is allowed for the reception. Glen Eyrie does not provide, nor does it allow the use of, aisle runners. Glen Eyrie will provide standard cream table linens and napkins, as well as china and flatware. Wedding favors, placecards and additional decorations are the responsibility of the guest to deliver to and place at the event location, as well remove at the conclusion of the event Personal Property Glen Eyrie does not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left on the premises prior to, during, or following any event.
