Asian American Ministries: The Ohana Gathering
“As the father has sent me, so I send you”Spiritual Generations flowing from the San Francisco Ohana
“We’re now helping our friend come to know Jesus,” said Charmaine and Brenda. “Not just the two of us! All 14 of us are helping our friend know Jesus!” This is very exciting news because Charmaine and Brenda are the youngest of a very special and loving generational ministry in San Francisco. What compels them with the movement of the Gospel? It started with Karen reaching out to Rose. Rose then shares with Arlene. Arlene brings the good news to her Ohana.
Eventually Karina, Anna Mae, Amy, Renelin, Charmaine and Brenda come to know Jesus. Through living and discipling among the unconvinced, the gospel flows to nine generations of women and continues as a movement into their Ohana. What is Ohana?
