Reaching Native American Youth: Warriorz Kry

Ruth and Alvin Logan have been ministering to youth through local churches on the Navajo Reservation since 1984. In 2008, they started Warriorz Kry Native Teen Ministry to spread the message of Jesus Christ to Native People through drama and dance.  The youth are actively involved in Bible studies, prayer and youth services held every Wednesday night.

Alvin is Apache who was raised in San Carlos, Arizona. He teaches 6th grade and leads worship for the youth band.  Ruth is Navajo and of the Redhouse Clan, born of The One that Walks Around Clan and was raised in Greasewood Springs on the Navajo Reservation.  She teaches first grade and plays the bass guitar for the youth band.  Ruth and Alvin joined The Navigators in the fall of 2007 and are committed to seeing Native teens grow in their faith in Jesus.
