CabinsDonate online to Cabin Fund As you know, continued growth brings both challenges and opportunities. Each cabin is a 12x16-foot structure with eight built-in bunks and a 12x10-foot covered porch for Bible study and group times. We project the cabins (40 in all!) will have a life expectancy of 20-30 years and cost approximately $8,000 each. Consider this statistic: One cabin holding seven campers for ten weeks every summer for just 20 years means 1,400 kids impacted. Can you think of a more phenomenal return on any investment?
During one particular week at camp, an entire table of girls could not
stop talking about how "cool" the cabins were while eating their lunch.
Ellen and Mallory told us, "The cabins seem warmer when it's windy. The
beds don't seem to squeak or move, and when you're on the top bunk, the
roof probably doesn't lean on you like in the tent. The cool part is
the benches around the deck because you can do quiet times and play
games."We agree, but we can only build as funds are available. We hope you will consider donating all or part of the expense of a cabin so we can proceed as scheduled with construction. Gifts of $500, $1000, and $8,000 will be needed. Camperships Donate online to Eagle Lake CampershipsEagle Lake believes that no camper should be turned away because of finances. Eagle Lake's Campership Fund, made possible through the generosity of Eagle Lake friends and supporters, is available to any family with financial need. To apply for assistance, email the Registrar to request an application. Eagle Lake will then send a campership application for you to complete and mail back within two weeks.
Financial assistance is
approved by written application only and is available only to those
campers already registered for an Eagle Lake program. Please apply
early, as funds are limited. Any financial aid awarded will be applied
to the remaining balance of camp fees. Note: Financial aid priority is given to those campers able to attend weeks 1 and 2. You will receive a letter as soon as your application has been reviewed, with the amount your camper(s) have been awarded as well as any remaining balance. |
