Letter from the Director
Dear Parents,
As a parent you are committed to the wellbeing and enjoyment of your children’s camp adventure. We understand that you desire for them to experience a fun-filled and safe place, so do we. We at Eagle Lake are committed to three elements that help make that a reality, our people, our programs, and our property.
People: Here at Eagle Lake the single most important element of a great camp experience is the people. We have learned over the last 49 years that a camper’s experience is only as good as the one that leads them within that experience. Eagle Lake has a long-standing tradition of finding the best college-age staff in the country. Our full time staff is committed to helping them become the best counselor for your child. Your child’s counselor is someone who will not only teach your child but also invest in his or her personal and spiritual life. Many of our campers have been so affected that they return as counselors.
Program: Eagle Lake's programs are both fun and run at a high safety standard, two things that are key to an enjoyable camp experience. Combining innovation with evaluated knowledge help Eagle Lake to continue to offer new and unique programs each and every year. This assures that every camper, whether they have been here before or not, will have an unforgettable experience.
Property: Property can be looked at as just a piece of land. That could not be farther from the truth at Eagle Lake. Eagle Lake is 330 of the most beautiful acres in Pike National Forest. Surrounded by over 10,000 acres of forestland Eagle Lake offers an incredible opportunity to experience God’s beauty. Mix that with great cabins, awesome activities and our own private lake.
The goal of Eagle Lake Camp is to inspire Christ-centered love and commitment, through counselor relationships, in the midst of exciting outdoor experiences. As you look through this website, consider how your kids are growing up…and how you can help them grow as Jesus did: "...in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52).
See you this summer,
