Click to view HIGH TECH TREK slide show A true high tech wilderness challenge! You’ll explore a backcountry trail using a GPS to find geocaches* that will lead you to your destination! Enjoy two nights out on the trail while geocaching and backpacking. You will also spend three nights at ELC base camp while going rock-climbing and racing in an adventure race on the last day! Campers will grow closer to Christ through regular Bible study, quiet times and discussions with their counselors.
* Geocaching is a treasure hunt using a GPS device. With thousands of geocaches all over the country and world, what better way to teach a fun activity/hobby than to do it in the midst of God's beautiful creation? For more information on this exciting sport check out www.geocaching.com.

Sunday: get to know you games, orientation talk, intro to GPS skills Monday: AM: rock-climbing, PM: geocaching practice course Tuesday: hiking on Alpine Loop trail to first campsite, geocaching along the way Wednesday: hike to second campsite, spend time geocaching and playing games Thursday: adventure race, banquet Friday: time to go home
