Dad/Teen Trek

Ages 13-Dad, 5 days, $435 each (see schedule below for details)

Click to view the DAD/TEEN TREK slide show A backpacking adventure for dads and teens! Spend three nights backpacking in the beautiful Colorado wilderness. During that time you will spend priceless time studying the Bible and growing in Christ with other dad/teen teams from across the country. The last two nights you will sleep at ELC base camp. Enjoy the challenge of a 75 foot rappel as well as bouldering and tunneling at nearby Thunder Rock. To top off a week of adventure and growth you will spend a day whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River!

Sample schedule for a typical week on Dad/Teen Trek:

Sunday: check out gear, hike to first campsite
Monday: hike to second campsite, day hike to punch bowls if time allows
Tuesday: hike to third campsite, time for dad/teen pairs to spend together
Wednesday: hike to Thunder Rock for rappelling, bouldering, tunneling, then hike back to camp
Thursday: wake up early to go whitewater rafting, banquet, Fathers give blessing
Friday: time to go home
