Click to view HORSE CAMP slide showThe Beginning Riders Camp is designed for new riders with little or no riding experience. Campers learn basic horsemanship, tack care, grooming, and saddling. Daily arena work allows campers to develop the fundamentals of riding while mastering their walking and trotting skills. Stunning trail rides through Pike National Forest complete this exciting program. Get ready to have the time of your life as you learn new riding skills, hang out with our exceptional horse staff, make new friends, and learn about the Creator of the universe.
The daily schedule consists of riding lessons and skill development in the mornings and early afternoon and thrilling Rez camp free time activities in the afternoons (including the blob, zipline, waterslide, beach activities and more). Beginning Riders camp joins Rez camp most evenings for invigorating worship and speakers.

Sunday: games, barn orientation, meet the equestrian staff and horses Monday: grooming & saddling, lessons, trail ride, afternoon free time, Bible study, Rez camp evening meeting, night games Tuesday: lessons, trail ride, afternoon free time, Bible study, campfire, sleep out at the barn Wednesday: pancake breakfast at the barn, lessons, trail ride, Rez free time, Bible Study, Crazy night (concert night) Thursday: lesson, prepare for horse show, riding games, pizza on the beach, afternoon free time, Bible study, banquet night, evening meeting/closing ceremonies Friday: horse show
