PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

NavYouth is a mentoring ministry to teenagers. This internship is designed to help you discover whether the Lord may be leading you to work in this type of teen ministry. It will include opportunity to teach and lead small and/or large teen groups, lead summer teen activities and trips as needed, and especially to develop one-to-one discipling relationships with teens. It will include weekly training times to discuss your experiences as well as to grow in personal discipleship. You'll also learn about teen culture and teen ministry philosophy. This experience is for men and women willing to take initiative and risks for the Gospel in relationship to teenagers. There will be an emphasis on outreach to secular teens. If you think God may be leading you to disciple teens as a vocation, this is a great place to test your gifts and gain experience. We only have room for a few interns each summer.

COST:

$600 (Can raise funds to defray costs and modest stipend. Part time employment may be possible.)
