Jesus was always pursuing people for the kingdom of God. Have you developed a "sit and wait" instead of a "go and make" attitude about disciplemaking?Here's how to get moving:
PRAY
Ask God to show you whom to pursue. Jesus chose the twelve after a full night of prayer.
LOOK
Watch for people with a desire to grow.
ASK
Don't wait for potential disciples to come to you. Once God points someone out to you, approach him or her about a discipling relationship.
COMMIT
Jesus shared more than His teaching with his disciples. He shared his life.
ENCOURAGE
Come alongside the person God gives you to disciple to form a healthy relationship of Christian love and mutual accountability.
