Coaching is relevant in our highly mobile society where job and geographical changes are frequent. A coach can provide continuity to help you move forward in areas of personal interest.

Benefits of Coaching:

• Focuses on productive action.
• A listening ear and a sounding board.
• A friend who will cheer your successes and share your setbacks.
• Harnesses personal motivation.
• Helps clarify goals.

To get the maximum benefit from coaching you should have a sense of need and be willing to set and accomplish goals. You may look to the coach for guidance, encouragement and feedback, but do not expect the coach to teach, train, or produce change. The coach can help you discover resources for growth but the responsibility for learning is yours.
